The Faces of Rescue

Introducing Bailey - April 28, 2023

Bailey is a special little lady that came to us as an owner surrender.  She lived in pain and misery with missing hair and severely infected skin.  Her owners could not provide for her and after multiple attempts by the rescue community to assit them, she was officially surrendered to Sweetpups.  Her medical care started the minute she entered the gates of this rescue and we have faith that she will heal fully, both physically and emotionally, and will soon be able to move into a loving forever home.  You can follow her on our Facebook page for updates, where she will have her very own album. .

Behind the Scenes

Sweetpups has been in operation for over 10 years, and has assisted thousands of animals in different ways, whether it be finding a home, having its medical needs met, or boarding an animal while it's family is unable to care for it. Our family saw a tremendous need in our community and felt called to step in.  This organization has been a learning experience for all involved and we have adapted to what our community needs.  We offer medical assistance, education. and preventative measures to help socially and economically underserved communities in our area.  We pull from pounds and take a few owner surrenders but most of our dogs have clearly been abandoned and left to fend for themselves.  They would quickly have succumbed to their situation without our intervention.
